The Stable Malacca

This is our second time staying with Eli, and it just keeps getting better with every visit! She is a warm and welcoming person, and always makes us feel a great sense of belonging when she hosts us. Her listings are beautiful; immaculately furnished, super comfortable and well maintained. The Stable is right in the middle of all Malacca's action, and we were able to get around on foot to almost everything we wanted to see. You have a lot of privacy because it is a whole house to yourself. It's a great refuge from the unforgiving Malacca heat as well. The bed is very comfortable and we slept really well. It's an absolute must to check out Eli's own café, which is a few blocks down the road. The food is amazing, make sure you try the scones and the roast chicken leg. Thank you Eli for yet another amazing stay; we will definitely be back again soon

it is a 2 storey shophouse in the heart of Malacca. a bathroom and a 'kitchen' facilities one the 1st storey, the bedroom is upstair. it is located in a narrow street very close to Jonker street. it is a charming guesthouse. the inside is very cosy. you feel a bit like locals having your own keys of a shophouse. the street is lively but at night it is quiet. Breakfast is included but you have to go to a very nice and well renovated cafe few streets for the stable. it is a nice concept. Stayed May 2015, travelled as a couple

I left my wallet of passports and foreign currencies in the safe and managed to retrieve it the next day. I think this speaks volume about the quality of both the guests and Winnie, who manages this boutique hotel.
