Sign up for the guided tour! Their in house guides are very well trained and will walk you through all the exhibits with you, taking time to answer all questions as well as giving you detailed explanations to the artefacts and process in making Royal Selangor Pewter. A lot of thought must have been put into designing the space and exhibits. For someone who rarely visit exhibits or musuems, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and learnt much from the exhibition!

Wow what a place. This should be on everyone's must visit list if in kl. Firstly it's completely free, very interesting and good fun. Definitely do the workshop and make your own pewter piece.

Too good. Not many know about this. They will show their factory as well and how it is made. You will have an opportunity to work and get a compliment with your name written on it (They charged RM 65). You can also shop and buy as well. I loved the building and lovely architecture.

We singed up for the foundry experience and that was really fun. You get to smelt the pewter to make key chains or even your own paper weights. The instructor, Weng Chung, was really helpful and patient with us.

I wasn't super excited to come here, but it was way more interesting than I thought it would be. It's a bit out of the way, unfortunately, but the more in-depth version of the tour is incredibly interesting. The sheer level of care and effort is marvelous to witness, and I'm glad I came. If you find the chance and you find crafts interesting, it's a must-see!

Great place to bring your family with kids to learn more on the pewter industry. With free entrance, free parking and free guided tour, there's no reason why we don't make a visit. There are many travel buses and holiday vans, people from all over the world. You can also see the factory and enrol in their workshop and maybe bring home a souvenir or two on your way out.
