Persatuan Kebajikan Orang Cacat Manjung (PKOCM) is a centre dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children and people with physical disabilities, making it possible for them to achieve their dreams.
Since its establishment in 1987, it practises an open door policy where its services are free of charge for anyone with disability regardless of age, race, religion, gender or culture.
In its efforts to alleviate the trauma of being disabled, PKOCM has adopted the “Community Base Rehabilitation” of World Health Organization’s model of practice to achieve maximum quality of life for the disabled.
This holistic approach encourages the participation of the whole community to contribute to the rehabilitative processes of the disabled and also lead to their integration in society.
PKOCM has also assisted numerous disabled individuals to lead purposeful and near normal lives.
