The facial beings with a foot bath and then a soothing shoulder and neck massage. After cleaning the skin, the therapist used a toner and exfoliator followed by a short 10 min massage of the head, neck and shoulders. After a 10minute mask treatment, it ended with a serum and moisturiser application. The leg hair removal was painless (maybe because I've had my legs waxed the past 10 years and they've gotten numb to sensation) and the wax they used was not too hot (unlike what I've experienced at other beauty parlours). Definitely professional and well-trained therapists who are properly trained! After which, she massaged a nice-smelling lotion into my legs to keep it supple and moisturised.
After everything ended, I felt refreshed and ready to take on the world again. Added to that, I smelled like aloe vera (which was good!) and felt rejuvenated. It's also good to know that there are no chemicals or artificial colour or fragrances in any of their products - excellent for those with sensitive skin like me. This was my first experience at The Beauty Cottage and Im definitely coming back again when my next paycheck comes in (oh and this time, I'll be bringing a friend along!)
