Very detailed museum and accommodating staff. The entrance is cheap and the place is huge. It is also very accessible to taxi and grab and the tour busses lie hop on and hop off passes by almost every 15 minutes. The parking is huge as well and there are cafes and restaurants nearby. If you want to know more about malaysia then you should visit this place and read the historical timeline in the museum.

It's one of the must-go places in Malaysia. The drawings seen on the building walls of the museum say it all that it captures and preserves the history inside. Such a welcoming depiction told through the magnificent drawings. It does not only tell us about Malaysia's history, but so much more than that. Every Malaysian must go and delve into the history.

Really interesting and informative museum. We had a great guided tour although we had a little difficulty finding the guide as we were a tad late so he was already guiding some others. He very kindly agreed to do a second round for us The displays were well set out and informative in excellent English and included in the price of the ticket was 2 more exhibits - one for pop yeah yeah and one of Malaysian cartoons. Well worth a visit

Very poor signage, and insuffient. Not easy to find the entrance. Ticket office should be centralized. Very, very BAD toilets! No toilet paper! This matters. Especially to tourists from much developed nations, and for locals. Asked the guard whether we could take pictures inside, and he said yes. in spite of sign at the entrance which says 'no'!

There are actually several museums in the same location. Some expositions required only registration and no entry fee and some are charging 2 rm for locals and 5 rm for foreigners. Isn't that lovely? Is not about the amount which is very small but still more than double. but is about how tourist are feeling when they see they need to pay more than double. Bed publicity! The museums are. educational but not exceptional. In walking distance is also the observatory, botanical gardens, butterfly world and the bird park so a full day to explore. Here are some pictures:

The museum is very well maintained. A very detailed explanation is explained in both Malaysian and English. The museum is excellently air conditioned making your walk thru the exhibits comfortable. There are also guided tours in various languages. Recommended place!
