忧郁症发病率在无声无息中逐年增高。如今，除了西医治疗，也有患者选择中医药治疗法。中医师李松昌解释，情绪是百病的根源，抑郁症(Depression)是自古以来一直困扰着人类的一种精神，心理疾患，总体来说，抑郁症是指情绪低落，思维迟缓并伴有兴趣减低，甚至有自杀倾向等症状的异类心境障碍综合症。
