KL Bird Park

Go to the cafe. It has a good atmosphere if it isn't too hot and have a cup of coconut shake while watching some bird perched near the railing. Good place to bring friends from overseas without going into the bird park.

Lacks maintenance in many areas (check out the flamingo pond to see what I mean). The staff look pretty disinterested as well. Some of the installations are nicer than others, but it needs a lot of upkeep and updates to get up to scratch with other bird parks - like the Jurong bird park in Singapore

Its a very nice walk through the park and very enjoyable for the kids. The price has increased since the last time we went but it is still worth a visit if your kids like birds. Bring some coins so you can get the bird/fish food pellets from the dispensers its difficult to get change from the staff there. Also go early in the morning so you can get the early show and have time to walk around before it gets too hot for you and your family.

Not fully open Bird Park but has good proportion of free roaming birds with many varieties. Best part is so many peacocks roaming around freely. Great for family time. You also take photos with Macaw birds. The park restaurant is also good and have delicious dishes.

Its a nice place to go visit, birds are very friendly and don't mind visitors being near them. In fact a peacock actually let me pet it even. Would recommend going around 4-5 afternoon, it wont be so hot then and birds are very much active.

One of the must visit place in KL. It consists varieties of birds that can be enjoy by visitors. Some birds are roaming freely without cage but rest assured those birds are friendly to people, take this chance to have a close look with these birds. It is also a good spot for photographer hobbyist. Don't just take my word, take a look on my photo that I took during my visit !
