Wonderful conservation centre for elephants, when I visited they had 24 elephants, either relocated or saved from the wild due to severe injuries or being isolated from their herd. Fantastic and educational visit. Bathing the elephants is definitely a highlight and great fun

Probably our favorite tour in KL. Plenty to learn about elephants, and a great opportunity to bathe and play with them. I will always remember this experience.

Worth every penny! You learn of the amazing work they do in conservation and get to bathe baby elephants! Get there early if you want to bathe the elephants as only a few groups can do this each day

Visited on Sunday (4 Jun 2017). Visitors can feed small elephants by buying sugar cane and peanuts. Only RM3 each. At about 2:15 pm, we watched how adult elephants taking their bath in the river and performing some simple acts on the stage. At end of the show, we were given papayas to feed the elephants. Fee entrance. Donate as you wish.

first time tengok gajah dan bagi makan pada gajah adalah satu pengalaman yang sangat menarik. dekat situ ada seekor gajah ni kudung sebab kaki dia kene perangkap gajah masa dia duduk dalam hutan. apabila gajah ini ditemui, kakinya perlu dipotong kerana sudah mula bernanah. siapa siapa yang pecinta haiwan, datang dan melawat la gajah2 yang ada dekat sini. semuanya jinak2.

I strongly recommend visiting for a day with Zali as your guide! You will have a unique behind-the-scenes experience that may be, for many of us, a once-in-a-lifetime chance to interact closely with these wonderful Asian elephants. We prepared fruit for the elephants by chopping papayas and watermelon with machetes (carefully), fed them sugarcane by hand, cleaned their stalls, and did many more carefully guided activities that let them get used to us, and us to them. The drive went by quickly, as Zali used the drive time effectively to orient us to context of the government-run sanctuary, which has a unique conservation mission, training elephants to help safely extract other elephants from the jungle when they need to be relocated away from populated areas or are injured -- as well as raising awareness in the country so that people know where to call when there is an elephant issue. You’ll be inspired to help how you can. It was an honor to meet the staff who train and rescue elephants. In a small way, we felt like part of the team, as when we saw other visitors, they were behind a barrier jealously watching us feeding the elephants their afternoon food. I’ll always treasure this experience! (Thank you to the posters who shared this opportunity.)
