KitaKita was created to showcase the best of Malaysia's beauty, creativity and diversity in craft.
Meaning "us" in Bahasa Malaysia, KitaKita aims to promote the development of home-grown craftsmanship to ensure its sustainability.
We carry a selection of handicrafts focusing on home and decor, gifts and lifestyle, many of which are masterpieces and unique to our store. The collections range from well loved Malaysian icons like batik, songket and pewter to lesser known gems like pua kumbu, tenun and our signature Nyonya Kebaya chinaware.
While we believe in the need to preserve traditional crafts as integral to the identity and heritage of all Malaysians, KitaKita is also committed to seeing innovation and creativity thrive in local craftsmanship. We work personally with artisans and designers to constantly develop new and exciting products to suit contemporary tastes and needs. KitaKita is also proud to support the work of home-based, small producers who contribute to the diversity and beauty of handmade Malaysian treasures.
And because we are a social enterprise, your purchase makes you a benefactor in ensuring the symbols of culture and history continues to flourish. We pledge a portion of our profits back to local artisans and producers - something we'd be unable to do without your support.
KitaKita is a family-run establishment of passionate and dedicated Malaysians who are true believers in KitaKita's long before the dream of sharing our love for handicrafts with the world was realized. Each item we carry was hand-picked with the utmost care and attention - if we're not delighted by it, we just won't stock it. Come for a visit and see why we love what we do. We're confident you'll love it too.
