Got there eventually and the top floor was closed for renovation and not much on the ground floor... Ten minutes and we where out. Disappointing considering JB is so close to Singapore and they get so many tourists from there. Obviously they don't come for the Art.The nice people called us a taxi to go home but no taxi's available so we had to walk down to the highway and hail a cab there.

There were a couple of local artist artwork on display and a travelling exhibition when I was there. It is a small and cozy place where you have to remove your shoes to get in. It is also not very accessible unless you have a car. The thing good about it is: it's free!

The Johor Art Gallery holds and interesting collection of historical costumes, weapons, currency, manuscripts, ceramics and paintings.
