My first time i visited Gina's Place. I feel home when i first stepped in. It is so cozy and well equip with things which moms need and for newborn babies. The most important is, 100% supporting BreastFeeding. Gina and Daphne are so friendly and helpful in helping mommies around to answer, to support and to solve any issues during our confinement month. Thanks to Gina and Daphne, mommies can have peace of mind during this precious month. The nurses are friendly yet experienced in taking care of babies. Kak Umi can cook such yumilicious foods. How i wish i know this place earlier.

My wife really wanted time to relax, recover and give herself and our baby a good start with breastfeeding. The staff were extremely welcoming, calm helpful, professional and supportive and made us feel at ease straight away. And I mean "us"! When I left my wife there, I felt confident that it was what she needed. There was plenty of healthy, wholesome food prepared in-house and nourishing drinks, basic monitoring of baby's health, additional arranged massages and lots of encouragement. Plus, I was allowed to visit with our son to make sure he could see his Mom. Another happy benefit of being at the centre was meeting other Moms and babies and sharing experiences and encouragement with them as well as creating friendships for the future. I'd like to say a big thank you to Gina, Daphne and all of the crew there for creating a lovely and warm environment and giving us a great start with our daughter.

Thank you Gina , Daphne , and all the helpful nurses throughout my confinement in Ginas place . Not to forget Kak Ning for always provide me with extra soups to boast milk and Kak Umi for her delicious 28 days meals . While I thought breastfeeding is a natural thing but it turned out that my bf journey is not smooth one and it is harder than I thought .I couldnt have made it this far without the persistence of Gina, Daphne and the great teams . Nurses have been very helpful in getting my baby back to the nursing track . This place is totally worth a stay especially if you are first time Mom and you determine to bf your baby . Although is a little bit stress for me , but is all worth it and I glad that I made it for this 28 days . Will be on my own the day after tomorrow and I will definitely miss this place ! I believe Mia will miss all the Kakak too

A review long overdue. What an opening.. :) We stumbled upon Gina's Place by accident since the center is close to where we are currently staying. We contacted a friend who happened to know Daphne and the rest was history. Isaac came to this world on 19th August and "we" checked in on the 20th. Yes, "we" because Gina's Place welcome all husbands to stay throughout the confinement period. Helen & the baby (of course) were both well taken care of by the staff at Gina's Place. Needlessly to say, we did not have much to worry about (besides breastfeeding) since we are always assured that Isaac is always in the safe pair of hands (the nurses). They even monitor Isaac's feed and his daily pee and poo very closely and the data are very accessible. Of course, both Gina and Daphne provided the much needed support in breastfeeding to wifey during the "darkest moments" which was much appreciated by the both of us. Wifey was well-fed (the meals just keep coming in!!), the portion was generous that I could even have some of it although not long after that I developed a "phobia" on confinement food. Afraid not, as Gina's place is just walking distance from a Chinese coffee shops, a banana leaf restaurant, and even a stall which serves superb Indian rice in the evenings. One thing that we were really grateful is the fact that Isaac recovered very quickly from jaundice without having to send him to the hospital for phototheraphy. Gina's place is equipped with a jaundice meter (I hope I got the term right!) which is non-invasive and bilirubin blanket much to our convenience. Having a jaundice meter is one thing, being able to monitor the jaundice level and receiving the right advice from both Gina and Daphne was a HUGE plus point. We are happy to have stayed here throughout the confinement period. The staffs were friendly and accommodated to all our needs as much as possible. I was comfortable "living" at Gina's Place that I actually worked remotely from the living room on some days. To Juminah, Suriati, Musarifah, Nor Farah, Thevathy, Nataleya, Nur Fadila, Nurazimah, Nur Aznin, Shamiza, Kak Umi and Kak Ning, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Helen Chung & Norman
