One of the best international schools in Malaysia. Cons are the traffic jam around the school.

Two words: amazing school! It was the best start my son could get in life. Joy and pride in learning, multicultural tolerance and bond, promtoting motivation and excellence, diversity..all these atributes are taught in GIS. As a parent I am thankful. I too learned a few things about quality education. Keep up the great work GIS!

SRI Garden Schools and Garden International School (GIS) have received the prestigious 5 Star Quality Standards Award for Private Education Institutions by the Education Ministry. The awards were presented to the school principals in a ceremony held at Garden International School by Federal Territory Education Department Private and Special Education head Mahani Kasim. With these awards, all the schools under Taylor’s Schools are now recognised as 5 Star institutions by the ministry. The other schools, Nexus International School, Putrajaya; Australian International School Malaysia and Garden International School, Kuantan, had received their respective honours in July and August. The award was based on school performance, including the assessment of 15 criteria such as curriculum, teaching and learning, teacher development, health services and discipline. Mahani congratulated the two schools and said they have set a high benchmark for other schools to beat. During the ceremony, GIS principal Stuart Walker said the school was honoured to receive the recognition, adding that 70% of their students have been enrolled at the top 10 United Kingdom universities of their choice. Both schools are receiving this award for the second time consecutively. Also present at the ceremony were Taylor’s Schools branding and marketing executive Jamie Lim; advisor YY Chew; senior manager Aaron Chua, Sri Garden Schools secondary head Datin Christine Chiu; primary head Lynne Cadenhead; principal Peter Wells and marketing and communications executive Jennette Tan.

Sri Garden was my 3rd choice and the only issue I had with it is that they don't have their own swimming pool for lessons, and no grass area for the children to play on. Tenby and ElC both have great outdoor areas and swimming pools etc. The reason we chose Tenby over ELC was because ELC was going to be 10mins longer in the car to Cyberjaya, and their Sungai Buloh campus was full.
