Four Point by Sheraton Sandakan

What a find in a small town like Sandakan; a beautiful corner room with fantastic sea views from two sides, and comfortable facilities. Wi fi was OK but slow, and the furniture in the room was a bit self assemblyish. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Very convenient for the sea front restaurants, and the bus station to visit Sepilok (bus no.14). Breakfast was quite varied, and the staff attentive in the eatery. Took a while to get the hang of the lift and its security measures with the door key. The pool was being renovated during my visit but it will be excellent. Room Tip: Rooms from about 18 floors up and ending in a 27 have great views.
