United States Sports Academy

Established in 1972, the United States Sports Academy (USSA) is the largest sports university in the world, and provides state-of-the-art research and continuing education in the sporting industry. In 2008, USSA authorized the creation of what is now called USSA Malaysia.

USSA Malaysia offers instruction and training in several sport-related areas. The largest of these projects is the International Diploma in Physical Education and Sports Coaching. Since its inception in 2012 the IDPESC has trained 2000 Malaysian physical educators. The program focuses on helping non-option physical education teachers offer better and more effective physical education programs in their schools. The IDPESC also helps these teachers become proficient in coaching sports.
