The 'Go-Go-Green' Society

the 'go-go-green' society is an independent, self-funded, neutral in respects of race, religion or political persuasion environmental NGO focusing on a campaign with the objective of eliminating the plastic shopping bag from Sarawak.

We have over 3,000 supporters who are very active in there own areas creating local cell groups throughout the whole of Sarawak. The society was founded by Ian M. Carter beginning in a very humble way in 2005 when I was mainly fact finding. We became a fully fledged NGO after registration with the RoS in 2013.

We have supporters from all over the world as well as all corners of Sarawak meeting them at our regular shopping mall events in Kuching, Sarawak.

Our objective is for Sarawak to be plastic free by 2020 which we can only achieve with the support of the Sarawak State Government. On that issue, I have met with Sarawak's Chief Minister, Tan Sri Adenan Satem, who revealed a very enthusiastic interest in what we are doing expressing an interest in an official meeting with him to discuss our strategy in more detail.
