Since its inception in 1837, Tiffany & Co. has been guided by the belief that a successful company has a responsibility to the greater community. The Tiffany & Co. Foundation was established in 2000 to focus the company’s philanthropic endeavors. Through its three environment programs, The Tiffany & Co. Foundation seeks to preserve the world’s most treasured landscapes and seascapes.
The Foundation supports organizations dedicated to the stewardship of natural resources in the areas of responsible mining, coral conservation and urban parks. Specifically, the Foundation promotes responsible mining through remediation, land preservation and standards-setting efforts; coral conservation through key research and targeted educational outreach; and the enhancement of urban parks through beautification and infrastructure improvements.
“The Tiffany & Co. Foundation is proud to support the efforts of organizations dedicated to environmental conservation and stewardship,” says Michael J. Kowalski, member of the Board of Directors of The Tiffany & Co. Foundation. “Through its three strategic environment programs, the Foundation strives to advance the long-term preservation of the Earth’s natural resources.”
