TASKA & TADIKA PERMAI (GOODLAND) We are trying our best to build on the underlying philosophy that the early childhood educator’s most important task is to provide a program that is sensitive to and supports the development of young children.
The TASKA thematic program is a child-centered program, in which children are allowed t make choices, the guidelines are clear & logical, activities are planned to meet the needs of the individual children in the group, & adults are consistent & loving, will children flourish. A good childhood experience can contribute immeasurably to helping children become responsible people who care and concern for others.
With the support of all the parents it grew from one student to 10 of them in six months’ time.
Goals: “A TOTAL CHILD”
1. The TASKA will give the children a process to help them to explore, design and carry out activities in their learning ability. (Developmentally Appropriate Program)
2. The program will provide time for children to work in variety of environments- inside, outside, on field trips in various corners. These stimulate learning and empowerment of children.
3. The curriculum is to help children to interact – child to child, adult to child, small and big group. To stimulate children’s social and emotional development.
4. To develop in children positive self-esteem which is related to one’s sense of significance and value and confidence in their own ability which they need in order to make the very most of life.
5. The TASKA will also plan activities in building up their human character and virtues.
6. We believe that encouragement, high expectations & applauding honest effort is not only ethically right but productive of good learning.
7. The TASKA will keep parents informed of the development of the whole child. (2 semester per year)
