Sean Yee is a dedicated Mathematics teacher who is friendly, approachable and passionate in teaching. He was a former student from Chung Ling High School. He took his academic pursuit one step further and obtained a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (Major) in University of Malaya. He can converse in Malay, English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkien. He has more than ten years of teaching experience in Mathematics.
Sean Yee was teaching Mathematics in NUS High School of Mathematics and Science, Singapore. His dedication and commitment is exemplary and this is much appreciated by students and their parents. He shows much patience in teaching and counselling students, seeking to motivate students to attain higher levels of attainments. He was nominated for the President Teachers Award. Before he was teaching in Singapore, he gave Mathematics tuition at his own centre in Kuala Lumpur. His students were doing great in their SPM examination for Mathematics and Additional Mathematics.
Sean Yee has a gift for teaching of Mathematics and has strong pedagogical understanding. He has a strong command of mathematical knowledge, and he is able to explain higher order mathematical concepts in a manner that students can understand with ease. Thorough and thoughtful in approach, he is always conscious of the needs of his students, and is adept in using inquiry approach to engage students in lessons.
