I play table tennis constantly in the US so when I travel I will try to find a local place to go to keep my hands "warm" - table tennis, unfortunately is a type of sports that requires you to continue practicing to keep your skill level not falling. So when I was in Malaysia, I found this place and went there several times. The charge for walk-in is 10MYR, which is around 3 US dollars. Not very big place, you can't back far away from the table but overall environment is quite decent. People are very nice - one guy I met for the first time even drove me back to PJ Hilton when I couldn't find a cab. Most of them are Chinese and kids in the training are speaking Chinese. I was very happy to find that Malaysia national player Ng Sock Khim is the coach there - I even took a picture with her last time. One con is that they only open to public (walk in) on Sunday. I wish they could open to public on Saturday also.
