San Lorenzo Montessori

San Lorenzo Montessori Pre School is a kindergarten offering full Montessori programmes, conventional teaching approach and brain-based learning within a rich and stimulating environment for children from 18 months to 6 years of age.

Registered with the Ministry of Education, San Lorenzo Montessori Pre-School strives to develop each child's potential through meaningful learning experiences in a happy, safe and encouraging atmosphere.

San Lorenzo Montessori's mission is to pursue excellence in Montessori education and related areas by providing:

• Quality preschool and enrichment services so as to educate children in the use of their minds and senses in accordance with the methods and principles set forth by Dr. Maria Montessori.

• Authentic Montessori education in order to equip children with effective life skills and to prepare children well for entry into Primary 1, Grade 1 or Year 1.

• On-going research and development in the field of early childhood education to create a dynamic learning environment.

San Lorenzo Montessori Preschool Programmes foster the social, physical, intellectual and emotional development of children and include the 5 areas of the Montessori curriculum. We aim to educate children in accordance with the methods and principles set forth by Dr. Maria Montessori.

Individual lessons plans are drawn up for each child weekly and specially designed syllabus will be provided for children aged 5 and 6 years old, with the integration of the Primary One Bridging Programme. This arrangement will prepare our children to confidently enter formal school in the Primary Schools (Chinese, Kebangsaan or International Schools).
