PTK - SMF Malaysia

I chanced upon PTK-SMF 7 months ago and it has been no turning back for me. Being a combative art, it may be difficult and certain risk involve however Punong Guro U-waye's skillful articulation of the art & teaching makes it easy to digest, pick up, progress & train safely. He has great patience to correct & make the student understand the implications of mistakes. His no nonsense attitude displays the highest level of respect to the art and ensure the students train realistically. Some of my favourite commands from him : "Hit it like you mean it !", "save yourself !" One of the best thing is he allows students to stop & question any doubts and clarify it convincingly instead of allowing the students accumulate bad habits. Every class we get to learn a new thing, it is never a monotonous session as the art itself is dynamic & validated. Strongly recommend to anyone who is keen on combat arts

I've trained under PG U-Waye for 4 months already. Breaking all stigmas on non-skinny female trainee, he has helped not just in familiarising the system, but also on fitness and safety in general; always catering to his student's needs. I really look forward to session with PG U-Waye, because there's always going to be new thing to learn. Always very patient and excellent while on training. His priority is to make his trainee feel good while training, and I think it's my duty to make he look good as intructor. Overall, I'm glad he is in KL to teach as I develop my newlyfound passion in PTK-SMF
