Pertubuhan Wanita Dan Kesihatan Kuala Lumpur(WAKE)

We are an NGO organisation running three shelters for HIV/AIDS infected and affected children, women and transgender who are abandoned and who have no family support. WAKE uses a holistic approach to the management of the children's health and for the other residents of the Homes.

The 3 Shelters are staffed by 3 Caregivers each ,who work on a 24 hour shift to care for their needs. WAKE 1 shelter for children infected by HIV/AIDS WAKE 2 shelter for women infected by HIV/AIDS WAKE 3 shelter for trans-gender infected by HIV/AIDS. Our objective is to provide a safe non-violent environment for the homeless children ,women and trans-gender HIV positive persons.

Provide access to proper health care, provide nutritious meals and adhere to 100% medication. A staff member accompanies the residents to their hospital visits and follow-up. All the three shelters cater to all , irrespective of race, religion or ethnicity. Our Mission Statement: Dispel Discrimination- Dare To Care
