Pertubuhan Kebajikan Rapha Kuantan 拉法儿童之家

In 1998 Rev. Richard Ong had a vision of a home to provide for the needy, under privileged, abused and children from poor families. On 27th August 1998, The Kuantan Rapha Welfare Society was registered under Act 1996. The application was approved by the Home Ministry in 2000. The committee consist of a chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer and 6 ordinary committee members. The society meets every two years to select the committee members among the members of the society. 

They are assisted by a cook, a helper, a house assistant and a driver. All the children attended the National Schools. The children age is from 3 years old to 18 years old. There are altogether 45 children today. Rapha Children Home is registered with the Welfare Department of Malaysia. The registration number in 1070. The home is funded through public donations and corporations. Ones a year a fund raising event is held to raise fund for the Children’s Home.
