PAKATAN REKA ARKITEK (PRA) SDN. BHD. was established in 1979 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The architectural firm is being led by David Teh and Effindi Ismail. More than 30 years in service, the practice has an extensive design and building experience, with the portfolio of master planning, interior design and architectural works of office buildings, shopping centres, hotels, educational institutions, industrial buildings, apartments, condominiums, multi-unit housing and individual houses. The key to PRA's work philosophy is to lead and manage the design process, backed by a Quality Management System. PRA is the first architectural firm in Malaysia to be certified and registered with ISO 9001.

• Architecture

Architecture presents us the opportunity to create meaningful spaces, places and built forms as a means to enrich the everyday experience of end users. We are therefore in constant pursuit of the adaptation of contemporary and historical architectural influences into the local environment.

• Planning

In large scale layout and master planning we feel there is a need to understand place making at the civic scale and also how spaces will relate and work at a human scale. We therefore move  beyond simply zoning and subdividing strategies. Our foundation in architecture enables us to go beyond normal planning to create spaces and places at civic and human scales with greater sensitivity to the built environment.

• Interior Design

Interior design allows us to enhance the desired character of our architectural design. It also harmonises and dramatises architectural spaces by the selection of colour, material, fabric, furniture and internal landscaping to provide attractive interior environments for end-users.
