Noah's Ark Ipoh Animal Welfare

We do not have a dog shelter but we manage a cat shelter. We have over 60 abandoned, sick, old, disabled cats and over 20 kittens. They are vaccinated, neutered and treated for their ailments. A fraction of them are adopted but most stay AS LONG TERM RESIDENTS. Like all shelters they cost a lot of money to run. The dogs we rescue are boarded or fostered by our team. We have been practicing TNRM since 2009. It means Trap, Neuter, Release and Manage. The rescued will be neutered, vaccinated and be prepared to be rehomed. If we cannot rehome them they will be tagged with a green fluorescent collar and released into the Community. Here the community feeders will become responsible their welfare. NAI has an understanding with the local council that the green collared dogs are managed dogs and will not present a problem with the public.
