NIS is one of the few International Schools in Malaysia to offer full boarding facilities with the children being supervised by teacher wardens. We look to create an environment that is encouraging and safe allowing pupils to progress through participation and inclusion.
NIS features the requisite indoor swimming pool, indoor gymnasium and sports complex, different libraries for primary and secondary students, running track and football pitch. Besides we offer students opportunity to excel in their niche areas like golf and fencing and creative activities such as debating, drama, art and music.
NIS has offered an inclusion programme to support high functioning autism students, age between five and seventeen since 2010. The department established the inclusion programme with the help of experts from Western Autistic School in Melbourne, Australia to help students with either Autism Spectrum Disorders or Asperger’s Syndrome.
