Caryn Yu has experience in corporate and banking laws and was involved in several major merger and acquisition exercises involving commercial banks, merchant banks, finance companies and insurance companies in Malaysia. She was trained and subsequently headed the legal due diligence exercises in connection with these exercises. She also headed the due diligence for acquisition transactions and the due diligence exercises for legal compliance of capital market transactions particularly the public offering of equity and private debt securities for corporate clients. She has also handled the preparation of various legal documentations and corporate agreements such as shares sale agreements, joint ventures, shareholders agreements, trust deed, business transfer agreements, consultancy services agreements and concession agreements.

She also handles documentation pertaining to property transactions for individuals and private companies such as sale and purchase agreements, property leases and tenancies for residential and commercial units.
