Yang Pei Keng

Graduated from Lincoln’s Inn in 1968 as a Barrister-at-Law.  Called to the Singapore Bar in 1969, and called to the Malaysian Bar in March 1970.  Has been  in active practice since then, handling mainly conveyancing matters.

He has been a member of the Bar Council, the Bar Council Disciplinary Inquiry Committee and the Disciplinary Board.

He has served in several committees of the Bar Council, namely the Conveyancing Practice Committee, Publications Committee, Human Rights Committee, Legal Profession Committee and Constitutional Law Committee.

Has also served in the various sub-Committees of the Johore Bar Committee, namely the Conveyancing sub-Committee, Human Rights sub-Committee, Newsletter sub-Committee and Info Johore Bar sub-Committee.

He has regularly written legal articles for the Bar Council Journal – Infoline and a regular contributor of articles for Info Johore Bar.  Has given talks on the conveyancing practice and ethics.  Has been writing legal articles as a columnist for Sin Chew Jit Poh, Nayang Siang Pau, China Press and Oriental Daily.
