Sharmini graduated with a Bachelor of Law Degree (Hons) from the University of London (External Programme) in 1991. She possesses vast experience in areas of law related to conveyancing, litigation and corporate assignments. She has advised various corporate bodies, banks and financial situations in these three primary areas. In matters pertaining to conveyancing such as land development, sale and purchase transaction for commercial, residential properties and housing development, Sharmini caters to the needs of both individual and corporate clients (local and foreign). This includes financial and banking aspects of the conveyancing transactions; both conventional and Islamic.
