POSITION

Janet Chai has a diverse practice in general commercial and civil litigation. She handles a wide range of commercial dispute matters ranging from contractual disputes involving conspiracy and fraud issues to land disputes. Janet also handles construction and engineering disputes, and regularly advises on enforcement of securities, insolvency and company law related issues. Janet is also on the Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration’s panel of adjudicators. Janet has been named as a Leading Lawyer in the field of Dispute Resolution by Asialaw Leading Lawyers in its 2012 edition and as a Rising Star in its 2014 edition. She is also named as a Recommended Individual by Asialaw Profiles in its 2015 and 2014 editions, and as a Recommended Lawyer in the field of Dispute Resolution by The Asia Pacific Legal 500 – The Guide to Asia’s Commercial Law Firms in its 2014 edition.

Janet commenced practice with the firm in February 2006 as an associate, and made partner in July 2013.
