Hospital Lam Wah Ee

LWE is an affordable hospital in Penang compared to other private hospitals where charges are so much higher, yet the quality of the service is good. One drawback is long queue/waiting time as it's a very popular hospital.

You really need to queue at 5AM if you want to have a quick check up, the doctor is pretty good and yet not all the nurse are friendly, maybe because I was an overseas patient..But despite that, overall admin and finance services are pretty helpfull if you approache them politely

Compared to Indonesian hospital, this hospital service is good. We don't have to wait for a week to get the MRI, X-Ray or blood test results. So far, my mom got proper medication here. I hope Lam Wah Ee will continue to give the best service and price for all the patients.

World-class hospital. Clean, tidy, friendly staff and affordable price. One thing to keep in mind that, to get a queue number, you have to come at least 5AM in the morning.

Good service Hospital. A fair price private Hospital. But a long long long time waiting Hospital. At here need to waiting very long time. A Long waiting Hospital. 1st. You have waiting to visit doctor. 2nd. Waiting to make payment. 3rd. Waiting to take medicine. Waiting and waiting and waiting....... Time visit on doctor checking and consulting less than 5min, but you have use 1/2 day for waiting or even 1day

Most importantly it's a charity private hospital. Charges are about one third of what other private hospitals imposed. The number of patients are tremendous versus the limited numbers of doctors. It's heartening to see many locals and foreign patients seeking fair treatment here. Tips: personally I think if you want quick and affordable tests, like CTScan, MRI etc, get it done here. Feel free to consult their doctors or bring out the test results to your preferred specialists. Saves money.

Good medication centre, clean, affordable and proffesional treatment. Favorite place is the cafeteria, i enjoy the chicken pie with yogurts and hot white coffee. They also hv many other meal, use to hv a special menu like laksa or kweytiau theng too.
