GES recognizes that the food we eat, water we drink, air we breathe and the quality of life we enjoy, all depend ultimately on the way we manage our environment. Today, clearly, all our basic needs are at risk largely because of our cavalier attitude towards the environment and human greed.

As such we aim to:

• Raise awareness among the public of the consequences of unsustainable development and the urgent need for the conservation of nature.
• Reach out to students in schools and institutions of higher learning
• Engage Government authorities on environmental matters
• Work together with national, regional and international environmental organisations.

Holding forums, workshops, seminars, advocacy, carrying out environmental activities such as the planting of mangrove seedlings and releasing of fish fries, reaching out to students on low carbon society, cleanliness of rivers, etc
