Eight Virtues Montessori Preschool

We believe that early childhood is the foundation upon which children build the rest of their lives. To build this strong foundation and cultivate a love for lifelong learning, Eight Virtues ensures the centre is a home away from home with half, full and extended day programmes.

Eight Virtues was named after the guidelines for life proposed by the sage Confucius. Through their day-to-day activities and a series of creative and exciting lessons, children will learn about the importance of filial piety, brotherhood, loyalty, trust, etiquette, righteousness, integrity, and humility.

With low student-teacher ratios, the preschool follows the Montessori approach in its education of 1.5 to 6.5 year olds. The classroom is a ‘living room’ for children, who can choose their studies from among the self-correcting materials displayed on open shelves. Over time, the children develop into a “normalized community,” working with high concentration and few interruptions. Normalization is the process whereby a child moves from being undisciplined to self-disciplined, from disordered to ordered, from distracted to focused. The process occurs though repeated work with materials that captivate the child’s attention. For some children this inner change may take place quite suddenly, leading to deep concentration.

2. Pre-Nursery: 2.6 to 3.5 years old

Half-day: 8.30 am – 12.00/12.30
Full-day: 8.30 am – 3.30pm
Extended-day: 8.30 am – 5.30pm

Montessori Pre-Primary Programme (Vertical Upper)

Class name:

1. Nursery: 3.6 to 4.11 years old
2. Pre-Junior: 5 to 6 years old

Half-day: 8.30 am – 1.00
Full-day: 8.30 am – 3.30pm
Extended-day: 8.30 am – 5.30pm

Eight Virtues Montessori Preschool Enrichment Programme

Eight Virtues Montessori Preschool offers the Enrichment programme as below:

1. Martial Art –Aikido
2. Junior Gymnastic
3. Ballet Dance
4. Jazz Dance
5. Kindermusik
6. Music For Little Mozart

• The classes are open to the internal students of Eight Virtues Montessori Preschool as well as outsiders students.
• The level of classes will be divided into toddlers level, kindergarten levels and primary level (7 to 12 years old).
• The classes will be run in the afternoon session during the weekdays (Monday to Friday) in between of 1.00pm to 5.30pm. Terms & Conditions apply.

EIGHT VIRTUES HOLIDAY FUN CAMP / HOLIDAY CHILD CARE

We organize Holiday Fun Camp and Holiday Child Care programme during our mid term and end term school break. A week of Holiday Fun Camp is such a valuable experience for everyone – children and parents! Eight Virtues Holiday Fun Camp will be a big deposit into the account of personal development, renewal, and refreshment for everyone.
