Dr Tan is very experienced and straightforward. She needs to improve on her social skill especially in replying questions to patients in a more professional and calm manner. She is not the most friendly doctor there is but she knows her stuffs. Waiting time is good unless if she has emergencies.

She is one of the highly recommended doctor in town. She is very friednly, we can see her wit a smile all the time. By smilling she make her patients calm and comfortable with her. She is a doctor which are available anytime and she wil be anytime at the hospital during her patients delivery.

Dr Tan is one of those 'boring-but-get-things-done' kind of person. She may seems unfriendly because she doesn't smile as often as other doctors, especially in Prince Court. But she is very professional and always take time to answer our questions in detail.
When faced with options, she will explain the pros and cons of it, then give her recommendation but leave the decision for us. Just love her no-nonsense style!
Also, the typical waiting time is not long compare with other gynae, I guess is because she plan her schedule well, cause we have to make appointment with her for every visit. Walk in session is only for special and urgent cases.

We went with Dr Tan for our third child at Prince Court Medical. She is quite straight forward, doesn't do lots of small talk, but very professional and always explain in very detail. She doesn't like the idea of scanning the baby unnecessarily, such as those 3D photo, she said it might disturb the baby. We trust her professional judgement and good intend, hence our 3rd child is the only one that we don't have much photo while he is in the womb, but guess what, we don't feel like missing anything :) these 3D photos are too overrated :) Typically we waited about 1 hour or so for the appointment, which is quite fast compare with Dr Loo at Hospital Taman Desa last time. The environment in Prince Court is good, feels like a hotel more than a hospital, but the food at their canteen also on par with the hotel's price :) Anyway, back to Dr Tan, her price is quite reasonable (forgot how much it cost already... coz that time I can claim from company, so didn't really care whether its expensive or not, lol) , consultation quality is good, could use more smiles some times, but very good and professional gynae as a whole.
