Dr. Ravi Chandran

Visited Dr Ravi for my first pregnancy check-up (7 weeks).Overall, I felt he was very warm and friendly. He took his time to clearly explain things to us and answer any of our questions. Obviously, he is very experienced and put me to ease with my concerns. Everything was very calm and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed. He also had time for small talk with us, which was nice (personally, I like it when doctors make an effort to get to know their patients and have time for them).

His clinic waiting area has sofas and armchairs which made it comfortable while waiting (although we didn’t have to wait at all to see him).He also has his own private washroom in the clinic (so you don’t have to go far)

However, he was definitely on the pricier side and they only accept CASH.Which they should of informed us beforehand.Hubby had to rush down to the atm in the lobby to withdraw money.

In total it cost us rm920 for our first appt.

Staff/receptionist was forgetful.After making payment we realised the receptionist had forgotten to give us our medication. We had to remind them that the doctor had prescribe us medication. Also, they don’t always reply on WhatsApp which was annoying. I had to text them again the following day, only to which they replied.

We didn’t continue with Dr Ravi because the location just wasn’t practical for us.Also, understandably the hospital is abit old and always seems crowded.

My overall recommendation THE BEST GYNAECOLOGIST in country…..just Trust him. Our story goes like this on 15th Feb we came to know the happiest moment of life that my wife Priya is pregnant and we came to Glenagles for the confirmation.As it was weekend so you won’t find many doctors and unfortunately we need to settle with one Chinese Doctor and meeting him was nightmare.He created so much negative things for a big bill…We we’re very disappointed and then searched a bit for other Gynaecologist.After seeing the reviews we approached Dr Ravichandran and believe me you may need to wait for a long at his clinic as mostly busy but wait is worth. I have no words to express how he handled overall maternity of my wife.First Trimester was very horrified for us as she has bleeding, tissue discharge quite often…we searched Internet ,consulted informally relative doctors to find the reason for this blood and tissue discharge and believe me everywhere we felt negative vibes about it and there was moment we even decided to abort the child in fear of abnormal or some complications to the baby…but fortune favours the brave and our God Dr. Ravi was always positive about this pregnancy and said he don’t see any complications with Baby…First Trimester we thought placental tissues are week so he recommended weekly injections to strengthen it but the real fear we felt when she had huge tissue discharge in 4th month…Dr. Ravi then did clinical inspection and realised it’s not baby sack but the root cause of problem was POLYP developed in my wife’s uterus and he felt so happy and confident that we can save this pregnancy….In a week time we undergo a minor Polyp removal surgery under Dr. Ravi and guess what no a drop of bleeding and discharge afterwards….This strengthen my believe in doctor though I had tough discussions with him before but Doctor is so humble and soft spoken always believed in himself what he is doing. After this surgery everything was fine …monthly visiting him doing sonography and seeing baby and mother both doing fine….He waited for 38 weeks for normal delivery but as it was second delivery after a C-section for a boy 8 years ago we also not expecting too much for normal delivery we decided for C section planned for 15th Nov….Recommended to do pre registration with hospital as it makes our life very easy no hassle …We got admitted 14th night and 15th morning was the day…First time in my life I saw OT and live operation of our baby delivery….Dr. Ravi did the operation smoothly and as he promised we have a sweet baby Girl healthy without any complications….I must admit Gleneagles is one stop solution for best services…everything so systematic.All staff so friendly and well trained …they released my tension of doing my wife delivery alone in Malaysia away from home without any family support and in such unprecedented situation of Pandemic….and last but not least Dr. Ravi seems to be a GOD’s hand who came in our life and blessed us with our complicated delivery…Highly recommended Gleneagles and Dr. Ravichandran for any maternity or Gynaec solutions….

As a doctor and as a person he is a gem.

Dr Ravi is very caring & experienced doctor. Just had Fibroid operation done on 7th Nov 18.. I did not feel any pain through out hospital stay & home. Very Experienced doc with excellent skills.. highly recommended!

I admire Dr Ravi chadaran for his great experience, positivity and patience. He is one of the best and most amazing doctor that i have ever seen in my life. He looked after me very well during my difficult and stressful time of being pregnant wih twins and had a miscarriage on week 15. I deely thank him for his kindness and support all the way through. If anyone is lookibg for an experienced gynacologist, i would personally recommend him without any doubts.
