Dr. Paul Ng Hock Oon

Dr. Paul Ng is a very good doctor even with handling non gynea cases like mine. He treated my case from the beginning even after removal of 14 Fibriods and one big cyst followed with some complications he never gave up on me! I am eternally grateful for Dr. Paul and his team of nurses, Prema, Pit Lan, Malar and Rajes. They carefully looked into my case even after all this I was sick and all. Even till now after my gallbladder removal he still treats me with care. Thank you Dr. Paul for your constant care, professionalism and patience. I am grateful and thankful for what you have done for me. May God bless you and family always!

Dr. Paul is only good with pregnancy cases and deliveries. However he doesn't handle other non-pregnancy gyane disorders effectively at all . With full trust in him, I was consulting him for the past three months, and for the same issue which has been causing excruciating pain for me over these months, he has handled it extremely poorly. He kept doing guess work and kept changing his stance everytime. Worst part is he advised me to be on pain killer for weeks, which eventually resulted in lot of gastro issues. During my last visit, he looked totally not interested in treating me and had an extremely languish approach which made me realise its high time to change the doctor. Also, when he is least interested in seeing a patient, he will ensure the patient turns out to be the last case he attends for the day, regardless of the appointment time. Very bitter experience and won’t recommend him.

Dr. Paul Ng is easily one of the best and most skillful O&G in town who strongly advocates natural birth. Both my sons were delivered naturally with the professional assistance of Dr. Paul. I truly appreciate that he is very reassuring and does not rush you to deliver quickly. Neither does he jump the gun into performing C-sects if your body and baby can still be delivered naturally. I took 3 days & 3 nights to deliver my first born child and throughout the process Dr. Paul was very reassuring and checked on the situation from time to time without rushing me into delivery. My second child was delivered within a day also with the skillful assistance of Dr. Paul who handled the delivery process equally well. Throughout the 9 months of visits to this doctor during the pregnancy, he was very careful in scanning and explained things well with very easy to understand terms. I would certainly recommend Dr. Paul Ng based on his professionalism, patience and experience.

I delivered my two boys under dr. Paul. I love him as he is pro-natural, gentle and friendly.

My first born, it took me awhile to get baby out. Doctor was there just waiting as we could see baby's head going in and out as I try push/breathe him out. But not once did doctor rush me nor suggest anything to quicken the process -- fully respecting my birth preferences.

He supports hypnobirths and DCC. Happy to answer questions. Happy to minimise medical procedures (e.g he doesn't recommend stitches if tear is small) Happy to discharge you as soon as possible to minimize your cost. Highly recommended if you are looking for a pro-natural birth.

Oh, he upgraded his clinic too and I find his ultrasound machine gives really clear images.

The paed he refers you to (if you don't have preference), dr. Eric, is also not bad and do support delay vaccination and breastfeeding.

The downside is dr Paul's waiting time, especially if he has to attend to deliveries.. Be prepared to spend half the day or more than half unless you can be there by 8am to be the first few patients.

My pregnancies and birth were fortunately problems free, so I can't comment his skills when there are complications.

First and foremost, my doctor- Dr. Paul Ng at Pantai Hospital– phenomenal. Hands down the most capable, personable, calming, informative, and natural doc I have ever been too. If you live in KL and are planning on having a baby, I highly recommend him!!

Our gynaecologist Dr Paul Ng was very receptive and responsive to our request to have a water birth and it was timely that Pantai Hospital had the water birthing facility. Coming on to the 39th week at Dr. Paul's clinic, Shawn and I had NO QUESTIONS to ask the kind doctor. We just didn't know what else to ask. Then came the most basic, fundamental question, "How do I know I'm having contractions?". No doubt Dr. Paul is a very experienced OB, i realized that it was nonetheless a *inappropriate words* question to be asking a man this question. He smiled professionally, and replied, "Oh, trust me, you'll know it when the time comes". Didn't really help, but I guess I've asked all I needed to ask in this potentially last doctor's visit (maybe).
