Another advantage of the Green Light Laser for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is the usage of finer instruments compared to the ones used in transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP). Dr Loh said that this translates to fewer traumas and scarring in the urine passage when the instruments are inserted into the urethra.
