Cancer Research Initiatives Foundation (CARIF) was created in 2000 with a mission to conduct impactful work in order to make a difference in the fight against cancer and our vision is a world free of the fear of cancer.

Our essence is “Hope Lives Here”.

This statement highlights our belief that Hope lives in Malaysia: in our own efforts in the fight against cancer, in our own genetic and natural product resources to find a cure, in our own Malaysian donors to support cancer research, and in our own Malaysian public to raise awareness about cancer.

Our Operational Objectives are: a. to conduct research in prevention, early detection and treatment, b. to transfer scientific findings to clinical settings, and c. to ensure the best possible care for all cancer patients
