In 1959, Caltex Oil (Malaya) Ltd was incorporated in the Bahama Islands and marketed a wide range of petroleum products. Later in 1965, the company was renamed Caltex Oil Malaysia Limited, and in 2006, the company changed its name again to Chevron Malaysia Limited, when Caltex became part of the ChevronTexaco Corporation.
