Brandon Choi 蔡锦聪

Since he was nine years old, he has been attending AMWAY meetings with his parents. As he grew up with AMWAY, he signed up when he turned 18 but he could not focus much on the business until he graduated from college. Finally, at the age of 22, he decided to build my AMWAY business seriously.

At first, his wife Yii Chieh was sceptical because she had many misconceptions about the business. However, after attending a few meetings, she was convinced and started to build the business together with him on a part- time basis.

Initially, they faced many challenges. As fresh graduates, they did not have their own car so they relied heavily on public transport to attend meetings or go for appointments. They did not have much business knowledge or experience. As his parents are in Kuantan and they are in Kuala Lumpur, they had to conduct most of the activities themselves.

With their full-time jobs, they could only build our AMWAY business outside office hours – during the night, on weekends and public holidays – when others were enjoying break. For them, the saying, “No Pain, No Gain”, rings true as they realised sacrifices have to be made to realise a dream. After few years of hard work, they qualified as Platinum in 2008, Founders Platinum in 2009, and Sapphire and Emerald in 2012.

During this time, they were both promoted. He was a product marketing specialist with a US-based IT company, while Yii Chieh was a business analyst with an insurance company. Despite that, they both chose to leave their stable and satisfying jobs in August 2014 after they qualified as Diamond in July 2014.
