Badan Kasih Sayang Malaysia (BAKASA)

Badan Amal Kasih Sayang Malaysia (BAKASA), under the patronage of KDYMM Sultan Pahang, was registered on 30th January 2004 under the Registrar of Societies Act 1996, as a non-profit, charitable body aimed at providing a better living environment for underprivileged children especially orphans from poor families.

BAKASA now manages the home of Rumah Kanak-Kanak Tengku Ampuan Afzan (RuKTAA). This home was built in 2008 on Lot 4988 Jalan Cheroh Lama, 27600 Raub, Pahang Darul Makmur and can accommodate 70 children between the ages of 7 to 18 years old.

BAKASA Objectives:

• To provide education and guidance to nurture good moral and bestbehaviour.
• To manage and organise RuKTAA by employing qualified staff who are dedicated, well mannered and full of tender loving care.
• To provide school equipment, food, tuition & sport program, quranic studies and activities with the local community etc. for the RuKTAA children.
• All expenses are derived from the generous public donations and the contributions of Zakat and charity activities organised by BAKASA through the sales of food items, pre-loved items and clothing as well as receiving assistance from the Welfare Department of Malaysia from time to time.
