Associate Professor Dr Lim Boon Kiong

Dr Lim is very kind and good doctor, he save my wife, ovarian cancer. My wife noticed she got the cancer on 22/10/22 when she consulted doctor at pantai hospital ampang, already at dangerous stage,then i was in panic because we didn't have any idea to do.

My family and friends highly recommended Dr B.K Lim to me, so that Dr Nurul Rahman (Pantai Hospital Ampang) help me to contact Dr Lim immediately.

Once Dr. Lim know the situation, he ask us to transfer my wife to UMSC immediately and help my wife to do operation.

Finally, my wife life safe, Dr. Lim also help her to keep one side of ovari and uterus, now accept chemotherapy treatment,

Hi AnnieC, my younger sis was now receiving treatment in Singapore by Dr John Chia due to the lack of expertise in managing of such serious cancer types in Malaysia and the advantage of sub-specialty care in Singapore along with the availability of clinical trials, molecular directed therapy and immunotherapy. She was in serious pain and suffering so we have no choice to send her to Singapore :( Can see a huge difference between Singapore and Malaysia in term of their clinical treatment and pre and post-chemo management after experiencing them in Malaysia. In Malaysia we would recommend Dr Tho Lye Mun, a very good and ethical oncologist in Malaysia. He also keeps in touch well with Dr John Chia from Singapore.
