Assoc. Prof. Dato' Dr Malik Mumtaz

He comes across as smooth and friendly but he doesn’t listen well and seems too willing to admit patients without a real reason.

Dr Malik is an excellent doctor who looks into all aspects of patient care, including the association between the patient's habitual background and the resulting conditions of the patient's illness. Not one to make assumptions, but not to discount the possibilities, he had treated my mother who was recently admitted into the emergency unit due to severe hypotension that led to dizziness, and in my personal opinion, with the possibility of coma due to the lack of blood flow into her brains. Indeed an excellent doctor. I cannot thank him enough for this.

Friendly, but not detail oriented doctor. He does not review his patient history while patient is inside or prior entering the room. He asked same questions on first and second meeting although everything he asked was noted on patient chart. Examination was done pretty quickly. I dont see anything special from him that is different than other endocrinologists.

Dr.Malik is very friendly, smart and professional doctor.
