Great value for money. Nice location with fine white sandy beach front. Friendly people, nice food. Just dash from your chalet into the sea for a great snorkelling experience.

I have traveled extensively throughout South East Asia, on my own and with my wife/children. There are very few places around where you feel this welcome and where you get so much more than you pay for. Nicest staff you'll ever meet, clean and inviting rooms. Not to mention that the location at the end of the beach means that there are very few passers by. It might be good to know that this is not a party-place. It's for the seasoned backpacker on a budget or a family who doesn't need five star hotel standards. Those looking for a party better go looking further north or on long beach (Kecil). It is unfortunately heavily booked in the high season, but even in the low season it's hard to find a room here - you'd do well to book in advance. The boats should drop you off outside the beach, though there are a few scammers who try to charge you extra for this. Been a returning visitor since 1996 and really happy about it.
