A medical card is an insurance policy that gives many benefits to the policy holders in which they are entitled to a range of health services. There are many medical insurance policies with different range of health services depending on the annual premium that are needed to be contributed by the policy holders. Thus, below are the tables of the insurance companies that offer several types of medical card with a variety of medical and surgical benefits.

A-Life Med Regular is a conventional medical insurance plan while the A-Life Med Regular-I is a takaful medical policy that is in accordance with Shariah rules. Both of the medical policies are under the AIA Bhd and these policies offer almost the same medical benefits in terms of room max per day, annual limit and the amount of kidney & cancer treatment but with different annual premium that is needed to be paid by the policy holders. Moreover, there are no lifetime limit for both of the medical policies.

PRUhealth & HealthEnrich+ are both under Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad & Prudential BSN Takaful. PRUhealth is an insurance policy while HealthEnrich+ is a takaful medical plan. HealthEnrich+ policy offers a higher amount of annual limit and lifetime limit compared to PRUhealth medical policy. However, for HealthEnrich+ there is a limitation of amount that can be claimed by the policy holder for kidney dialysis and cancer treatment but for PRUhealth, there is no limit as long as the amount is reasonable and up to the amount of the annual limit that is stated in the policy. There is also an annual emergency treatment benefit provided as the additional medical benefit for both policies.

Hope Medic & SmartCare Optimum are both conventional medical plans under the AXA Insurance Malaysia. Both plans offer no lifetime limit of the total amount that can be claimed by the policy holder. Not just that, the additional medical benefit for both medical cards is that the policy holder are entitled for home nursing care & accidental death benefit. Hence, Hope Medic offers a higher amount of kidney dialysis and cancer treatment compared to SmartCare Optimum. For SmartCare Optimum, the amount of room max per day is slightly higher than Hope Medic. Therefore, the total amount of annual premium for Hope Medic is a bit higher compare to SmartCare Optimum as Hope Medic has more advantages in terms of the amount that can be claimed.

The table above illustrates the types of medical cards that are includes in Great Eastern Life Assurance Malaysia Berhad. Both Great MediCare 2 & Great Medic Xtra are conventional type of medical plans. The special benefits for Great Medic Xtra is that there is no lifetime limit for the total amount that can be claimed by the policy holder and there is also an organ transplantation benefit that are being offered by the Great MediCare 2. Not just that, there are some other additional benefits under Great MediCare 2 in which the policy holder may claim for an annual emergency treatment that are caused by any accidental injury. These both policies also entitled the policy holder for kidney dialysis and cancer treatment that are up to the amount of annual limit.

Healthnet Premier & B-Health Net are both conventional medical plans under the Berjaya Sompo Insurance Berhad. Both plans offer almost the same medical benefits but for B-Health Net medical plan, the total amount of annual limit that can be claimed is slightly higher compared to Healthnet Premier medical plan. Furthermore, there is no lifetime limit for B-Health Net medical plan. Thus, the stated annual premium that are needed to be contributed for Healthnet Premier is a bit lesser compared to B-Health Net medical plan as there is a lifetime limit of amount that can be claimed under Healthnet Premier. There is also an additional benefit under Healthnet Premier in which an annual emergency treatment for accidental injury is also provided under this plan.

Mediguard Supreme & Mediguard Premier are both conventional medical plans under Kurnia Insurans Malaysia Berhad. Mediguard Supreme offers a higher amount of annual and lifetime limit compare to Mediguard Premier. Not just that, the total amount of kidney dialysis and cancer treatment that can be claimed for both plans also differ as for Mediguard Supreme the amount must be in reasonable amount and up to the annual limit that is stated under this plan whereas for Mediguard Premier, there is a limit that are entitled for this plan. Moreover, the special benefits for both plans are that the policy holders are also entitled for AIDS & home nursing benefit. The total amount of annual premium for Mediguard Supreme is a bit higher compare to the Mediguard Premier as there are more advantages under Mediguard Supreme.

Progressive Care & Progressive Care-Jade are both conventional medical insurance plans under Progressive Insurance Bhd. Both medical policies differ from each other. The total amount of annual limit & lifetime limit for Progressive Care-Jade is higher compared to Progressive Care medical plan. Thus, the rate for room max per day is slightly higher than Progressive Care policy. However, for Progressive Care medical plan, the total amount of kidney dialysis and cancer treatment is bigger than Progressive Care-Jade. Both of the medical plans have lifetime limit. Moreover, the additional medical benefit for Progressive Care policy is that the policy holder is entitled for an accidental death benefit. For the Progressive Care-Jade plan, the policy holder may claim for any traditional medicine benefit as one of the health services provided under this plan.

**Premium Children is for 2 years old children.
